Frequently Asked Questions
Planning an extraordinary event comes with plenty of questions. From luxury weddings and destination celebrations to private parties and corporate events, discover more about working with GSP Events, our planning process and the services we offer.
What types of events does GSP Events plan?

GSP Events plans and produces weddings, private parties, corporate events and charity events in the UK and internationally. Our experience ranges from intimate celebrations to destination weddings, milestone parties, film premieres, awards ceremonies and product launches.

Where is GSP Events based?

GSP Events is based in London and works across the UK and internationally. Our team has produced events around the world, drawing on decades of international experience and a global network of trusted contacts.

Does GSP Events plan destination weddings?

Yes. Destination wedding planning is a core part of GSP Events’ expertise. We have produced weddings around the world, from the Caribbean and Tuscany to the Scottish Highlands, with France and Italy among the destinations in which our team has extensive experience.

How far in advance should we book a wedding planner?

For full planning, we typically work with couples 12 to 18 months ahead, particularly for destination weddings, venue buyouts and multi-day celebrations. That said, extraordinary requests are very much part of what we do. We’re accustomed to ambitious ideas, unusual locations and briefs that might initially seem impossible - and finding a way to make them happen is where GSP excels. We have also created exceptional celebrations on considerably shorter timelines when required. If you have a date, a destination or simply an extraordinary idea, get in touch. We’d be very happy to discuss what’s possible.

What is included in full wedding planning?

Full planning at GSP begins from the moment you commission us. That includes creative concept and design, venue sourcing and negotiation, supplier curation, budget management, guest travel and logistics, on-the-day production and coordination, and everything in between. Every wedding is different, so the exact scope is shaped around what you need. What is constant is that you deal with a senior planner throughout, and that the team handling your wedding is the same team who scoped it.

What happens after we enquire?

One of our senior planners will get back to you within two working days to arrange an introductory call. That first conversation covers the shape of your celebration, your vision and your timeline. If it feels like the right fit on both sides, we prepare a bespoke proposal outlining the scope of work, the team involved and the investment. There is no obligation at the enquiry stage, and no pressure.
